During the week that my mom was on hospice she spoke on the phone with her favorite priest, Father Bill Murtaugh. Mom believed in the Catholic version of God, and Father Bill told her God was waiting for her with open arms, and that the visions she would have upon entering His Kingdom would be more beautiful than anything she could imagine here on earth. This song, written by Ed Sheeran, reminds me of so many things from that week and Father Bill's words - but, most of all, it reminds me of my mom. Perhaps some of you have lost someone close to you and it will remind you of them. Note: have Kleenex at the ready.
